Tanzania is, in many ways unique among the countries of East Africa, having spectacular mountains, rift valleys, volcanic craters, huge inland lakes as well as a rich heritage of wildlife which includes chimpanzees, nowadays rarely seen in the wild. Unlike many other countries in Africa, Tanzania is politically stable and peaceful where people are always friendly, helpful and obliging. Moreover Tanzania is blessed with mild and temperate climate in the interiors, where most of the National Parks are located and a warm pleasant weather along the coastal belt.
